When H2R Design set out to create an inspirational and luxurious shopping space in the Dalma Mall, they sought upscale materials that were rich in both form and function.

The Brixton style of Wovenpanel™ in antique brass proved to be the ideal medium. This unique decorative feature is used in stunning fashion on the back display wall, doors, and perfume stand counters.

As one of Abu Dhabi’s biggest shopping malls, the warm colour and intricate detail of Wovenpanel™ was an ideal choice to reinforce HOB’s magnificent scale. The architectural woven wire mesh works to contrast the rich tones of oak wood, brass coloured metallics, and exquisite marble flooring. The wires are crimped in such a way to reflect light from all angles, adding a spark of visual interest.

Brixton features a thin double wire with a flat weave and open fill. The combination of the double wire and the flat top adds visual texture and a dynamic aesthetic. The Brixton is a great choice to craft different zones within an open area without separated them completely. It’s this type of refinement that takes an interior to the next level.

Diffused illumination was also added to the back of the perfume displays to reveal a soft glowing environment for the products. The open mesh transparency of Brixton allows the light to pass through.

With this sophisticated layer of style, the designers created an open space that benefits from elegant partitions. Its chic design aesthetic works to create a feeling of modern luxury.
